Heller Engineering and Sable Engineering was registered in January, 2005 after two of the employees working for Heller Engineering for some eight years, registered their interest in purchasing the business.

Fred (Basie) Joubert and Chris Gant were successful in their partnership to acquire the company from the previous owner and thus began the new look “Sable Engineering” & “Heller Engineering”.

It was a challenge for both to go from being employees to employers – and Directors of the company but through a lot of hard work re-establishing contacts and the knowledge from clients of the standard of their work Sable Engineering has now developed its own identity.
